(Ps.  this is not an academic post, it's more of a journal for my MIL class) DAY 4 - 11/21/17 The Timeline of Media in my Life Internet of Things as Theory of Media and Information In your own words, define Internet of Things Internet of Things is the concept of interconnection of any devices that enables them to exchange information/data via internet. Connecting any device that can be connected via the internet so that they can exchange data/information. What brought this theory about? The "Internet of things" was coined by Kevin Ashton in 1999 during a presentation he mad at P&G because  he observed that we were developing an extension of the Internet to accommodate Things and hence the term “Internet of Things” evolved. (Ps.  this is not an academic post, it's more of a journal for my MIL class) DAY 1 - 11/7/17 For the past week, how many hours did you spend engaging with media and information providers? *this was during our sembreak , so don't judge me Which media provider did you spend the most time?  What roles does the media play in your lives? I spent the most time with books. Media plays a huge role in my life. It has been a source of enjoyment and where I spend my leisure time. Media also provides me with news and information that I need to keep updated on what's happening around the globe. And, it has been a place for learning and communication.

How did these questions help you as a journalist?     As a journalist, an information design framework can be the foundation of the article I am making.
